Fresh Lapu-Lapu Soup

My mom's favorite soup. We only cook it when we buy freshly killed lapu-lapu from the wet market. This cannot be made with frozen fish.

Fresh Lapu-Lapu Soup
Good for: 2 persons
Prep Time & Cook Time: 15 minutes

1 whole fresh lapu-lapu
3 slices ng ginger
1 tomato
3 spring onion
Salt to taste
1 1/2 bowls of filtered water


1. Boil the water. Set aside.
2. Slice the lapu-lapu to two.
3. Slice ginger and tomato.
4. Slice onions half-inch.
5. Throw together the ginger and tomato to the boiling water.
6. Simmer up to 10 minutes.
7. Add salt to taste.
8. Put the onion.
9. Serve.
